Registration, Exam Dates, and Fees

FDP Charter is examined twice each year in Cohorts. Each year, a full calendar is published here including all fees. Unlike many other professional bodies, there are no ongoing membership fees for FDP Charterholders.

All registration fees are inclusive of a non-refundable $500 enrollment fee. For full refund policies, see below.
Exam registration fee includes selected reading materials but excludes Python eLearning course & recommended textbooks.
FDP Tutor is available from Registration date until close of Exam Window.
* FDP Tutor option is best value when purchased during exam registration (fee of $499 vs $750).
Local sales taxes will be applied, where applicable.

Registration: Key Policies

Exam registration is non-transferrable – registration cannot be transferred to another Cohort, to other individuals, or to different registration types (apart from the FDP Tutor upgrade which is available separately).
Retakes and deferrals are not available for Candidates who are unable to sit for their FDP exam due to late receipt of study materials, failure to secure an exam appointment at either a physical or remote location, or lack of availability of a valid visa or passport.
Enrollment fees are non-refundable. The FDP Institute will grant refunds of exam registration fees only, net of any applicable fees, if registration is cancelled within 14 days of purchase. To cancel a registration please email candidate@fdpinstitute.org.
